This is one of the oldest automobiles on permanent display in the United States. Although there were earlier experimental and custom made automobiles, this was one of the very first cars produced for sale. It is an ancestor of the present day Mercedes Benz. The vehicle runs on a crude form of gasoline or "household" petroleum.
