What type of discounts are available?
There are a number of discounts available from various locations. Among them are a $2.00 off each adult admission (up to 6) for AAA members with presentation of a membership card, a $4.00 discount off regular adult ticket (up to 6) for those who have a Ukrop's Valued Customer card, 50% off a second regular adult ticket with a Giant BonusCard and a $4.00 discount off adult tickets available from various companies and some military bases through their human relations department.

When do Luray Caverns tours depart?
Guided tours depart about every 10 - 20 minutes throughout the day. Each tour is about an hour in length. The Car and Carriage Caravan Museum, included in the General Admission fee, is a self-guided tour usually about 30 minutes in length.

Are reservations for groups required?
Groups of 20 or more receive a discounted admission. Reservations are not needed, but large groups should contact our Reservation Office 14 days before their planned arrival to assure the best possible service. This allows many reserved groups to depart with their own pre-assigned guide upon arrival.

Is Luray Caverns wheelchair accessible?
There are three sections of steps totaling about 80 in the Entrance Building going into Luray Caverns. For guests with mobility impairments, there is a chair lift for manual wheelchair users. The paved walkways on the tour are 1.25 miles in length. Some areas have steep grades for wheelchairs requiring assistance of one or more persons. Since the need for assistance on the steep inclines of the tour is necessary, Luray Caverns is not listed as handicapped accessible.

Will we hear the Stalacpipe Organ?
The Stalacpipe Organ is played for each tour by a live, automated system which operates similar to a child's music box. Manual performances only occur on special occasions.

Can we use a stroller?
You can use strollers. The paved walkways on the tour are 1.25 miles in length. Some areas have steep grades, but not too steep for strollers. There are two stories of steps at the entrance so a smaller stroller is easier to carry down and up.

Are photos allowed on the tour?
Visitors are encouraged to take photos in the Luray Caverns, we do recommend high speed film and/or flash though. Please inquire at the photo counter if you need film or have any questions.

Can we bring our pets?
Pets on a leash are allowed on the Luray Caverns grounds. Unfortunately, we do not have a kennel on-site, however guests are permitted to carry small pets on the tour.
