This event will be located at the new Luray Valley Museum located at Luray Caverns, Virginia
on 200 acres of land (the same site as last years “Front Royal and Fishers Hill” events). The
event is open to all branches of service. There will be a bounty for the first 4 full scale Artillery
pieces and the first 30 mounted Cavalry per side. This is a not to miss reenactment. All profits from
this event will help fund the The Page County Sesquicentennial Committee for Civil War preservation.
Provided will be hay, water, firewood, port-a-johns and a Saturday military ball with a Valley
string band. All participants in period attire will receive a 50% discount on admission to the Caverns.
Registration fee $10.00 till June 15, late registration $15.00 till August 31, $20.00 walk-ons.
The site will open at noon on Friday, Sept. 9th with a living history Civil War Education Day for
Page & Shenandoah County, Virginia school systems.
